"The Aluminum Horse" for “Dogs”

Andrei Butica reserved the Best Cinematography prize at Stockholm

Dear friends,

We are proud to announce that Andrei Butica reserved “The Aluminum Horse” for Best Cinematography for “Dogs” at Stockholm International Film Festival. The jury — comprised of producer Annika Rogell, directors Roland Vranik, Wayne Roberts and Frida Kempff, and actress Julia Ragnarsson – found the film “photographed with incredible restraint and a clear mastery of both artistry and craft”.

After winning a FIRPRESCI prize at Cannes Film Festival Bogdan Mirica's first feature film received Special Jury Mention and Best Actor prize at The Sarajevo Film Festival.

200 films from over 60 countries were shown in various cinemas during the Stockholm International Film Festival this year.
